Abstract


Abstract

Lately, infrastructure development in the field of transportation has experienced rapid progress. Sometimes event does not pay enough attention to natural factors to water catchment when it rains. Porous concrete as very suitable for use in vehicle areas, especially for areas that often rain, which helps reduce water puddles on the pavement surface. This study uses silica fume as an additive in porous concrete mixtures to review its effect on tensile strength with cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 15cm and a height of 30cm. The percentage of silica fume variation is 6%, 7%, 8% and 9% with a ratio of 1: 4 gravel cement and a cement water factor of 0.40. Splitting and absorption strength testing is carried out at the age of concrete 7, 14 and 28 days. The results of this study the optimum tensile strength of porous concrete with the addition of silica fume percentage variations found in the variety of the average percentage of the addition of 6% silica fume. The tensile strength of porous concrete with the addition of silica fume percentage variation has no positive effect on the tensile strength of pervious concrete.

Abstrak

Akhir akhir ini pembangunan infrastruktur dalam bidang transportasi mengalami kemajuan pesat. Kadangkala pembangunan kurang memperhatikan faktor alam terhadap resapan air bila hujan turun. Beton berpori sangat cocok untuk digunakan di area kendaraan terutama untuk daerah yang sering turun hujan, di mana membantu mengurangi genangan air pada permukaan perkerasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan silica fume sebagai bahan penambah pada campuran beton berpori untuk meninjau pengaruhnya terhadap kekuatan Tarik belah. Dengan benda uji berbentuk silinder berdiameter 15cm dan tinggi 30cm. Persentase variasi silica fume 6%, 7%, 8% dan 9%. Dengan rasio perbandingan semen krikil 1:4 dan factor air semen 0,40. Pengujian kuat tarik belah dan penyerapan dilakukan pada umur beton 7, 14 dan 28 hari. Hasil dari penelitian ini kuat tarik optimum beton berpori dengan penambahan variasi persentasi silika fume terdapat pada variasi persentase  6% silica fume. Kuat tarik belah beton berpori dengan penambahan variasi persentasi silika fume tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kuat tarik beton berpori.
